Black was born when I had thirteen, and it was a mix between the Tim Burton´s Batman, Locke, the superman of the space, Rick Hunter from Robotech, something of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Star Wars. I was a child with a great imagination that wanted count my histories for the way that always i loved: the comics.

 

And the argument went like this:

 

Xainds Leonards was a child who was living in a remote future and to whom I spend a serious mishap: the murder of his parents for gangsters. In fact this one was saved from an explosion in his house. Then it is found by a mysterious creature that saves it and one leads it to living to his home, the sewers. It begins to train Xainds in using the power of his mind and when this one is ready, works out armed with a suit of black and a arm to receiving the revenge for the death of his parents.

 

This Black's first appearance was in the year 1990 when it was in the school and was born in a copybook that my friends were reading. They appeared as three numbers of Black and of there the thing it froze, though continue drawing the idea across the years.

 

Then I began to be employed at Black's version but already adult. Set it in actual times and with some things as the use of mask and a cap. Also he was married with a woman called Rose. The history was that of an alone number and it was counting as this Black was on the verge of leaving his hero's career to devote itself to be a family father, when a cybernetic threat goes out to the streets to kill persons. Xainds between called of the duty and that of his family stays in a dilemma but it divides to do his work what was cause the separation with his wife. Notable fact also is that it was appearing a némesis of Black, a villain dressed totally in white.

 

I said this idea lasted only a number. But all that I change in the year 1996 since Black's concept was established definitively by big changes but that it make better the history. The argument is the following:

 

Eric Saez, is a valdivian kid. He has 16 and he is very unpopularly, very bad in martial arts and he is a poet that was falling in love with his best friend, Claudia Rebolledo, from the child, but he never has the courage to say it to him. But a ball of fire that falls down of the sky will give him powers and it transforms in a superhero to conquer to the love of his life. 

 

This saga I call him Power slave (yeah, like Iron Maiden´s song) and it lasted seven issues between July, 1999 and August, 2001, in format fanzine, white and black to 32 pages  and 48 the last one. After the success of the saga there was born Purification, saga that remained incomplete due to different problems. 

 

Several years happened then since Black ended, but the year 2011 came and take again my son of paper and there was born the reboot, material that you will begin to read in English from now and as well as on the Spanish-speaking market, I hope that they like much and could follow Eric's adventures and his group.
